Education

Although schools in Tabora are free, children are not allowed to attend unless they have the correct uniform and school supplies - which are not free. TLC provides all these necessities for the children at our centres who otherwise would not have access to them.

It is not uncommon for primary schools in Tabora to have over a hundred pupils per class, with similarly large class sizes in secondary schools. We provide our children with extra tuition every day. This is especially helpful for those who are struggling in the large classes at school. We have teachers at all our centres giving smaller classes after lunch
